Founded in 1933, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is a renowned arts and cultural institution that serves as one of the world’s leading centres for arts, creativity, and professional development. Dedicated to fostering creativity and artistic excellence, Banff Centre brings together artists, thought leaders and communities to create, collaborate, share, envision, learn, and find inspiration.  

Situated in the stunning Canadian Rockies on the side of Sacred Buffalo Guardian Mountain, Banff Centre is a post-secondary institution that offers a multitude of educational and training programs in over a dozen disciplines, including the performing arts, visual arts, literary arts, Indigenous arts, leadership development, mountain culture, and more. The wide range of programs, residencies, and resources offered is designed to cater to the diverse needs and interests of every artist, creator and leader who enters the doors of Banff Centre.
