INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this step is to look at work possibilities. That includes:

understanding the nature of the work itself (the duties and responsibilities, qualifications required, etc.)
exploring alternate ways of doing the work (full-time or part-time employment, self-employment, multi-tracking, etc.)
learning about labour market trends.

Try the activities and explore the links below to find out more about the world of work.

QUESTIONS TO THINK ABOUT
Which occupations interest me?
What have I discovered about those occupations?
What do I know about alternative ways of working? Which alternatives fit my lifestyle?
Have I talked to people who work in my chosen field? If so, how does that information fit with my research?
What is the future outlook for my chosen occupation or industry sector?
