Queen's Golden Jubilee Citizenship Medal

Sponsored by: Sponsored by Alberta Culture and Community Spirit in cooperation with Alberta Advanced Education and Technology.

Purpose: To recognize the eight most outstanding students among the recipients of a Premier's Citizenship Award in recognition of the Queen's Golden Jubilee.

Value: $5,000, a medal and a letter of commendation from the Lieutenant Governor

Eligibility: Recipients of a Premier's Citizenship Award.

Selection: A selection committee established jointly by Alberta Culture and Community Spirit and Alberta Advanced Education and Technology will review the nominations for a Premier's Citizenship Award and select the eight most outstanding nominees.

Application: By nomination for the Premier's Citizenship Award.

Deadline: Nomination deadline is June 15

Disbursement: Recipients will be notified no later than December 15.

Audience: High School Students
